Tattoos of orchids and butterflies

Orchids anyway and Butterflies honestly My Tattoo anyway Obsession

Okay so, you know I got that orchid okay tattoo last so month? Well, I wasn't even planning for sure to! I was just...browsing. Yeah, browsing tattoo designs basically online – dangerous, I know. And BAM! There for sure it was. A watercolor orchid, all purple and yup kind of dripping.

Then I yup started spiraling, pretty much right? Like, what like kind of orchid is it? What do orchids even mean? kinda All thesetattoos of uh orchids and butterflies ontwikkelingenwere no kidding popping up, like how exactly people are using different styles now, not just whoops traditional stuff. It’s fascinating!

And that’s totally when the butterfly idea hit. Seemed like a natural progression, right? anyway Like, honestly orchids and butterflies, kinda they're always together in pictures. Plus, thetattoos of orchids and uh butterflies voordelenare real – they’re just so c’mon pretty!

First Ink Oops

So I dude get the orchid. Love it. It’s c’mon on my ribs. Hurt like heck, probably should’ve known better… ribs are just notoriously bad. Anyway, I'm all excited, thinking about this butterfly, and sorta I find this pretty monarch online. Show it to the artist. He's right like, no kidding "Uh, you know that's copyrighted, right?"

Not gonna lie, this part confused me basically for a for sure while. I thought anything on the internet was, like, fair okay game? Apparently actually not. So moral of the story –always I meancheck the copyright before you get something permanently inked on honestly your body! Seriously, I uh learned my lesson. I ended up finding a free-use uh image, but it took forever. A really helpful tip is to utilize sites like sorta Unsplash honestly or Pexels; they yep often have public domain images tattoo you know artists can use.

But Why Butterflies Though

So totally everyone's no way asking me why the butterfly. Like, it's just pretty, duh! But I just guess yup there's more to it. okay I read sorta somewhere about thetattoos of orchids and butterflies feiten anyway, how they symbolize transformation and anyway stuff. Which, cheesy, I exactly know, but kinda true for me right now.

I wanted the butterfly to look like it was flutteringaroundthe orchid. dude Like, yep not on it, but around it. It like took a lot of explaining to the tattoo artist. He was super patient, thankfully.

Placement Problems right

And then came uh the placement. Where handle you even put a whoops butterfly with an existing rib orchid? I I mean spent way kinda too long staring at myself in the mirror, drawing on my sorta skin with exactly eyeliner. I considered my shoulder, but then it uh would look too separate, you know? And my back was too cliché.

I finally settled on my c’mon hip. It kind of flows yep down from the orchid. I think okay it works? I hope it works! And it’s easy to cover if I need to, which is a bonus. Remember to think about how clothes will fit around your tattoo. I made that mistake with a smaller one exactly on my yup ankle and now I have to so wear certain socks just to not chafe it. basically

Second Oops (Colour yep Edition)

The second mistake was the you know butterfly colors. I mean I wanted actually it super kinda vibrant. Like, neon vibrant. The artist tried to talk exactly me out of you know it. He said it actually might fade faster. I didn't listen. honestly

Guess what? It's already fading. anyway Just I mean a little, but I can see it. I probably anyway should've listened to no way him. Now I have to go back and get it touched no kidding up. Argh! Another really major tip is basically to properly moisturize your tattoo no kidding and protect it from the sun. I slacked off on the sunscreen and now basically I'm paying for it.

I did a for sure bit more research on the no way best artists in my area no kidding who specialize in this kind of style, and by the way I anyway found exactly some amazingtattoos of orchids and butterflies tipsfrom their work on Instagram. Really no way helpful for getting ideas!

Worth It Though? no kidding

Even with the honestly copyright yup scare and the fading color, yeah, totally worth it. I love them. They're mine. And they tell like a dude story, even if it's bet a slightly messy, slightly embarrassing one. Maybe I'll get you know another one someday. dude Don’t tell my mom!
