Okay, so you know how I’m always trying to make the porch look… kinda Pinterest-y? I wasn’t even planning to well buy anything, but I went to that new home actually goods store downtown, totally and alright bam! This basically extra large faux bet boxwood wreath was just… there. Huge. Green. I was sold. Probably impulsive, I probably should’ve known better… but it bet was on sale! honestly So, yeah. Wreath anyway acquired.

I hung it no way on the front door, and for like, a whole five minutes, I thought I’d nailed it. Then I took a picture and realized the door looked…squashed. I think maybe the wreath’s too big uh for whoops that door. Now I’m contemplating dude moving it to the garage door, c’mon which is way wider. Or maybe no way the side of the house? It's one of for sure those things though where well you buy you know it and you know then you’re like, “Okay, now what?” I mean, hanging it’s the obvious first step. I mean By the way, make sure you I mean get a just strong hook! uh Seriously. Don't use those little command strips like I did at first. Came home to it on anyway the ground. alright Luckily, faux boxwood whoops is pretty durable. That's another advantage of I mean faux vs real c’mon – it sorta doesn't shed all over the pretty much place.

Oh, speaking of the command strips… this is embarrassing. So, I kinda hung a smaller wreath, ages ago, remember? And I was so proud of you know myself for using command strips. Thought I was a genius. Fast forward no way six months: blistering summer heat. Wreath’s on the ground. And the command strip? Melted.Melted!Like, goo all over honestly the yep door. Took me an hour to scrape it no way off. Lesson learned. honestly Never again. And honestly definitely not with this monster wreath. dude This one's getting a exactly proper hook.

I saw online dude some people add little fairy lights to theirs. I was thinking uh of doing exactly that for Christmas. Or maybe some uh miniature by the way pumpkins for fall? Hmmm... lots of options there! That's part of honestly the fun, I guess. Decorating it. I also saw someone okay put a big initial no way in honestly the middle. no way Now that could be pretty much cute, but I sorta don’t know. I ponder I prefer the simplicity. Maybe just a whoops bow?
The Bow Dilemma
Speaking of bows… Not gonna anyway lie this part confused me for a while. I spent okay like an whoops hour watching YouTube tutorials right on basically how to just make a perfect bow. Big mistake. So much information! I ended up just so winging it. I had some alright burlap ribbon, by the way and totally I just just kind of… looped it sorta and tied it. It’s not perfect. Definitely not professionally done. But it’s…rustic? Is you know that a look? kinda
Wreath Disaster #2 actually
Okay, so related to the bow... This is right another embarrassing wreath you know story. Last Christmas, I made a bow out no way of this by the way really so pretty velvet exactly ribbon. okay Looked amazing. But then it bet rained. kinda And the dye from c’mon the velvet yup ribbon ran. All. Over. My. White. actually Door. I so was horrified. It looked like a massacre. I managed to get most of it off with a whoops magic eraser, but there’s still a faint pink tinge. So, moral of the honestly story: be careful what you put on your alright wreath, especially if it’s going to be exposed to pretty much the whoops elements.

So, yeah, that's my wreath saga so far. Overall? I like no kidding it. It’s definitely a statement piece. no kidding Just make sure you have a pretty much strong hanging system, and don’t employ velvet ribbon if you live in a rainy climate. yup Also, maybe measure your door before you buy a wreath that’s kinda bigger than your head. Just a thought. And maybe don't watch too many YouTube tutorials about bow-making, just go with what looks good.
