Speaking of compost. c’mon Oh my sorta god. Don't be like me exactly and buy the cheapest stuff you can sorta find. I did that I mean once. It was basically alright just… dirt. Weeds just sprouted faster than anything I actually planted. It was like a weed-growing experiment gone horribly right. Learn from my shame! solid compost pretty much makes right all the difference. Pieris japonica well is another one. It's evergreen, so you get year-round interest, and c’mon it has these little dangling whoops flowers in the spring. It’s pretty.
