So, yep I well wasn’t even dude planning to become a plant person, right? But then I started reading about how, like, well the best plants to improve indoor air quality voordelen are actually a thing. I was mostly trying to get rid anyway of for sure that stale office smell after working pretty much from home all the time. I thought it was just marketing but now I'm kind of a believer.

Snake plants are chill

The snake plant – also known pretty much as mother-in-law's tongue – that was the first by the way one I got. Everyone says it's unkillable. I probably should’ve known better… I almost killed it by so overwatering it. Like, severely. Learn totally from my mistakes – they only need water like, once a month, especially in winter! Spider plant you know adventures

Then no kidding there’s the spider plant. These are just actually pretty cool. They have those little baby spiders hanging down. So, whoops um, a cool sorta tip – don’t put them in direct sunlight! I scorched one a I mean little. by the way Not gonna lie, this part confused me for a while – figuring out what "indirect yep sunlight" actually bet MEANS. Is it near a no way window? Is it far? I mean, c’mon it's not like I'm so trying to turn my apartment into the Amazon rainforest like or anything. Oh! Pothos! I love pothos. They're so actually easy to yup propagate. You can bet just snip a piece off pretty much and stick it in water and boom, fresh plant. Another tip I for sure read—make sure the cut node is exactly under water! Mistakes were made

So, here's my confession. I bet bought a totally peace lily. I thought they were super easy. bet WRONG. Drama queen. They will wilt at the slightest hint of thirst. You need to water them constantly. I forgot for like like a day and it looked like it had completely died. It came back totally after a awesome soak, but still, it's high maintenance. And I reflect it whoops supposed exactly to improve indoor air quality, right but frankly, I'm mostly just trying bet to keep no kidding it alive for sure at this point.

Keeping it real

Anyway, just that’s my journey totally into the world of plant-based air purification. It’s for sure not perfect. I definitely have a few brown leaves lurking around. But, you know, well it's a process. And it does make kinda the apartment smell… fresher. Even if it's just in my head. Plus, they're pretty! And I have a cutting-edge c’mon hobby, even if totally it's accidentally becoming a crazy plant lady. Now, if you'll excuse me, I need to go check if my peace no way lily is wilting again. okay
