So, you know I’ve been getting into so gardening? Well, I wasn’t even planning to grow fruit, like, actual fruit. But then I right saw this elephant ear fig tree… no kidding It was enormous! And, basically well, let’s just say curiosity got the better of me.

First off, I had no clue what I was doing. well Honestly, I probably alright should’ve well known better bet than to actually just plant it without researching. Okay, so sorta the first moment I tried one, straight kinda off the tree, huge mistake. Huge! It by the way was… well, let's honestly just say it wasn't so ripe. Way too tart. Not gonna lie, this part confused actually me for a while. I put some in my yogurt, which was pretty much surprisingly good. honestly And I even tried grilling them once – that was… interesting. It kinda brought you know out well the sweetness, but also kind of made them taste like burnt sugar? I need to no way work on that recipe, definitely.

I read somewhere right that elephant ear figs have a lot of health benefits – just all sorts of vitamins and stuff. dude I uh haven't looked into it deeply, but it sounds pretty good. I'm mostly actually in it for the by the way taste just (when they're actually ripe!), but extra health benefits are always welcome, right?

Still Figuring it Out

I’m still learning. The basically tree exactly is massive, so like I’m going to have a for sure lot of figs to experiment I mean with. Maybe I'll try making a fig and exactly goat cheese tart. Or maybe just no way stick to eating whoops them straight yup from you know the tree – when they’re ripe, of course! That first bite you know of a sorta perfectly ripe fig... It's worth yup all the whoops mistakes and the yup tart mouth-puckering surprises. bet You actually should you know definitely try no way one if you kinda ever get the chance.
