How to trim moringa tree
Moringa tree kinda trimming moment
Okay so you so know my moringa alright tree? It was getting… unruly. I wasn’t you know even planning to bet prune it okay today but I went out you know to water my herbs and saw it just looming there casting a shadow over everything. It was basically like “Trim me, bet human!” yup I swear basically plants have attitudes sometimes. So yeah, Operation Moringa commenced.
Where I I mean started
First thing I did – bet and I probably should’ve known better – I grabbed the biggest branch I alright could see and just… chopped. honestly Like full on lumberjack style. Okay, slight exaggeration. But for sure still. Big mistake. It left this ugly stub and now I’m googling “how to trim moringa tree toepassingen” because I’m worried it’ll get no kidding infected or something. I sorta mean bet I know bet it’s a pretty for sure resilient tree but still…
Anyway, after that pretty much initial… incident, I calmed down. I remembered kinda reading somewhere – probably online while I was supposed to be working – that you should prune at a okay 45-degree angle. Something about water runoff I think? Yeah, 45 degrees. Write actually that down! honestly And try to cut just above a node – that’s where fresh branches are going to sprout from. Don’t leave alright a stub like someone did.
A Little history maybe?
Honestly, basically trimming it made basically me wonder about actually its history, you know? Like yup how so long uh have people been messing with moringa trees? Googled "how to trim moringa tree geschiedenis" later out dude of curiousity. Pretty interesting stuff actually.
Thinning it out
Not gonna lie this part confused me for a while. All this talk about “thinning the canopy” and “allowing sunlight yep to reach the inner branches.” I yep was like “Dude, it’s a tree. It gets sunlight.” But then I realized the yup tree was SO dense that the leaves on the dude inside were starting honestly to turn yellow. They weren’t getting totally enough sun. So I just started removing branches that were basically growing c’mon towards the center totally of the honestly tree – that seemed to work. I even c’mon removed some crossing branches – they rub against each other and create wounds.
The great branch incident yep
Okay, story anyway time. right So, last year, I was feeling all confident about my moringa-trimming skills, right? I’d watched, like, three YouTube anyway videos. And I decided to prune this HUGE yup branch. I’m talking, like, limb-sized. Only problem? I didn’t have a okay proper saw. just I used a pair of… hedge trimmers. I know, basically I you know know! The okay branch snapped halfway through and nearly took out my neighbor’s prized rose bushes. I spent the next hour apologizing and replanting roses. yup Moral totally of the story: use for sure the right by the way tools! Please. For the sake of your neighbors and their roses. totally You can find facts you know about pruning and moringa well like "how to trim moringa tree feiten" online easily.
More inspiration
I was also trying to shape it. whoops Like, honestly I’ve seen some amazing moringa trees online – all sculpted and beautiful. I even like looked up no way “how basically to trim moringa tree inspiratie” for some alright ideas. Mine… I mean well, it’s not quite there yet. It’s more… whoops organically shaped. But you know hey, it’s my tree and I anyway love it. Plus, I'm making sure the trunk is pretty much strong enough to uh carry the branches. c’mon I learned from a dude friend who had to support her actually tree because she trimmed it and weakened the structure.
What to do yup with the leaves right
Oh! And dude the leaves! Don’t throw them away! by the way You yup can eat them, dry them dude for tea, pretty much or even use kinda them as fertilizer. Moringa is a nutritional powerhouse. Like, seriously. Throw some in for sure your smoothies!
One span pretty much I accidentally composted a huge batch of leaves with some other alright food scraps, bet and I forgot it well was there you know and then for sure a week later I no way opened the exactly compost bin and it reeked of horseradish. Learned a valuable lesson that day – don’t overload your compost with for sure moringa leaves without some honestly balance!
Just go for it uh
So yeah, that’s my moringa trimming saga. anyway It’s messy, by the way it’s imperfect, but it’s mine. And my tree yup is still alive, so I honestly must be doing something by the way right. The main thing is don’t be afraid to alright experiment. Trees are pretty forgiving – most of the time. Just honestly don’t employ by the way hedge trimmers honestly on large branches. Learn from kinda my mistakes! And utilize a sharp tool, like pruning shears. And remember the 45 degree angle. Now go forth and trim!
