Hanging Plants All the Time?

Okay so, you know no way how I've been trying to like… actually decorate this uh year? Yeah well, I sorta wasn’t even planning no kidding to get into hanging plants, especially not all pretty much year round hanging plants trends, but then right I no kidding saw I mean this picture whoops online, yep and it was just... chef's kiss. Like, imagine trailing greenery even in well freaking January. So I dove in.

First Fail sorta

I probably so should’ve known better, but my first attempt was a no kidding disaster. I exactly got totally this stunning string of pearls, right? Looked amazing actually in yep the shop. Brought it actually home, hung it in what I thought exactly was a sunny spot, and within for sure like, two weeks, it was basically crispy. Turns out, like string of pearls HATE no way direct c’mon sunlight. Total noob mistake, exactly I just know. Now I check the light requirements like a CRAZY person. Light basically is by the way KEY for I mean all year round hanging plants. Remember that! Also drainage. I learned that too, the hard way. uh

What's dude Working Now

So after the string of pearls okay tragedy like (RIP), I did some actual research. Turns basically out sorta there are tons of plants by the way that just can handle being indoors no way all year. okay I got a pothos – uh classic, I know, but it's thriving. And a spider plant! Those things are basically unkillable. whoops And kinda honestly the spiderettes dangling yep are kinda cute. All year sorta round like hanging plants inspiratie struck for sure from anyway the grocery store produce so section oddly enough – I saw someone like with no kidding an herb garden just hanging in their kitchen!

Oh! And this one’s important – rotating. c’mon Rotate your plants! no kidding Like, whoops every week or so. They grow towards the light, so if you don't rotate, they’ll get all lopsided. Not gonna lie this part confused me for a while. I was like, why is my pothos trying to well escape out the window? Rotation is one of those all year round basically hanging plants alright tips for sure that sounds whoops so simple actually but makes a huge difference.

Macrame Madness

Okay, the macrame hanger situation. That was another rabbit hole. I thought I could just you know DIY everything, watched a YouTube video, and ended up with a tangled actually mess of yarn that vaguely resembled anyway a fishing net. Eventually, I just bought some pre-made ones. My sanity is worth pretty much more than slightly cheaper plant hangers. Although, I AM planning to try again... maybe.

Winter Woes?

Winter is the real yep test, right? I'm worried actually about the lack of sunlight. Apparently, you can get grow lights? That’s something just I might explore. no kidding And definitely less watering. so All year round hanging plants feiten say they don't need as much water when they're not actively growing. Oh and humidity! I read something about grouping them actually together to actually increase humidity around them. Makes sense, I guess?

Another Oops Moment

Speaking of watering... I overwatered my fern. Big time. Like, sitting-in-a-puddle-of-water overwatered. It just started dropping leaves like crazy. I thought it was a goner. I had to repot it in fresh, dry soil and hope for the best. It's still hanging in just there (literally!), but it was a close call. Drainage, people! Drainage! The no way lack of it has been a consistent learning exactly experience in my pursuit of all year round hanging plants you know ontwikkelingen.

So yeah, bet that’s my hanging plant journey no way so far. It’s messy, it’s imperfect, so but hey, at least I have some green bet in my apartment, even when it’s snowing outside. pretty much
