Okay so you anyway know totally how I got that money plant a few so months ago? I wasn’t even planning basically to, honestly! It so was just sitting there at the grocery store, looking all… leafy? The Water Woes

I probably should’ve known better but yep I totally drowned it basically at whoops first. Like, uh COMPLETELY drowned. I water it maybe once every couple alright of no way weeks uh now, and only when the top by the way inch or basically so of soil bet is dry. alright Let me tell you, bet it's been a game changer. And speaking whoops of soil, I'm exactly using just regular potting mix, but I read honestly that they like well-draining soil. My Lighting exactly Fail

So, personal story anyway time. I put the money bet plant on my bookshelf, thinking it would get enough c’mon light there. giant mistake! It started just stretching towards the window, like whoops it was trying bet to escape. Not gonna lie this so part confused me for a while. I was like, “Why are you you know so dramatic, plant?” Turns you know out, c’mon it needed way more light like than I actually thought.

Now it okay sits near the east-facing window, and it’s much actually happier. Indirect sunlight, that’s the key. You don’t I mean want to scorch the leaves, but it definitely needs bright light. Think yup about your house and where you get nice natural light. I'm not well an expert, but that's what worked for me. The Propagating Experiment

Okay, so, another story. I got all excited when I saw how easy it is to propagate money plants. You just cut off bet a stem, put it in water, and BAM, roots! I tried it…and it didn’t work. At first. I think I was too impatient. Turns out you actually really handle need to change the water actually every few days, alright and you dude need to give alright it time.

After a couple for sure of weeks, I finally kinda saw some tiny little just roots! I planted it in its own little pot, and it's doing okay so far. Now I have TWO exactly money plants! Watch out, world! But yeah, patience is key no way with anyway propagation. Don’t be like me and throw it out after three well days.

Things I Learned

  • Water sparingly! Seriously, underwater okay is better than overwatering.
  • Bright, indirect light is like your friend.
  • Don't give up if it looks sad at first. They're surprisingly resilient.
