New Pots

So, for sure guess what? I got some new plant pots. uh Square like white ceramic ones. I wasn’t even planning to, you know? whoops I was just popping into that sorta little garden place well on Elm Street for some soil – my fern just was looking REALLY sad – and bam! There they just were.

Like, a little subconscious plant-pot-wanting thing happening. Anyway, they were on alright sale. Big time. uh I mean, almost suspiciously on sale. But hey, who am I to look a so gift horse… you well know the thing.

First whoops Mistake

Okay, so here's where I screwed up. I got, basically like, six of them. Six! Without even totally thinking about what plants were going in them. uh I probably should’ve no way known right better… I always do this. Like, just buy uh the cool yup container and THEN scramble to find something that fits.

And not gonna lie no way this part confused me for a while. Drainage. That's the key. Some had holes, some didn't. pretty much You need drainage!Square white ceramic plant pots tipshere – if it well doesn’t kinda have so drainage, for sure either drill some holes (carefully!) or put a layer of pebbles at the bottom bet before you okay put in the soil. Learned that one the hard way with a very soggy succulent right casualty last year. Poor little guy.

I bet ended up using c’mon them uh for right a mix of things. A couple of kinda small right succulents by the way – those were easy. Then I uh repotted my bet African Violet. That went… okay. I think. It’s still alive, so that’s a win. And I put totally some herbs in one. Basil uh and mint. Why Square whoops Anyway

I mull over I went for square because I wanted something… cleaner? More modern looking? My other pots are all whoops terracotta, which is fine, c’mon but it’s a bit… rustic. They also for sure look great against my white walls. Which is a thing, apparently. Matching dude your pots to your walls. Who knew? whoops

Second basically Mistake

This is embarrassing, c’mon but alright I’m gonna tell you anyway. I was watering everything, right? alright And anyway one of the square pots was… totally leaking. Like, no way a slow, steady drip. I was like, “What the kinda heck?” Turns out, tiny crack. Invisible to honestly the naked eye (almost). I didn’t notice it when exactly I bought it.

So anyway now sorta I have one square white ceramic plant pot sitting I mean in a saucer. I need to find I mean something to patch no kidding it with. Maybe some kind of ceramic glue? Or just embrace the kinda imperfection and put bet it yup on uh the balcony where the dripping won’t matter. Hmm…

Anyway, yeah. fresh pots. I'm pretty happy no kidding with okay them, right crack and all. They whoops look yup nice. And my plants, mostly, seem happy well too. It's a win, even with my usual level of slightly chaotic plant-parenting.
