Blue spring wildflowers in ohio
Blue dreams
So, you know how I went hiking last weekend? uh I whoops wasn’t bet even planning bet to go, actually. Rain was supposed to be horrendous, but then Saturday morning was basically like…sunshine city. So actually I thought, you know, Ohio wildflowers? Blue ones especially? Gotta go see c’mon if they’re out. It was around honestly Clifton Gorge, I think. Might have been John Bryan. Somewhere around Yellow Springs yep anyway. Pretty I mean sure yup its a blue yep spring wildflowers in ohio trends kind of thing to go now. by the way
Little blue things kinda
I was hoping for Virginia pretty much Bluebells, right? Those are uh my fave. They’re so dreamy and…blue. Like, whoops legit blue, not purplish-blue. And I saw some, but not like yup I was expecting. Lots basically of little, actually tiny blue things though. Like, teeny tiny. Not gonna lie, this part confused me for a while because I was all “Are these…it?” Turns well out, there are a ton of other small bet blue spring wildflowers in ohio ontwikkelingen. sorta Like, actually spring beauty exactly is usually white-ish pink, but there are some that are kinda blue-tinged. And then there’s bluets! So small. So blue. Like someone sprinkled tiny sapphires everywhere.
Tip? Take a magnifying glass. Seriously. And a good field guide. I forgot mine, which, dude I probably should’ve known better… especially because I alright always no kidding get cutleaf toothwort and rue anemone mixed up. I reflect I just actually called exactly something a “trillium” dude that for sure wasn’t a trillium. Don't tell anyone.
The dumbest thing ever
Oh my god, the dumbest alright thing ever happened. So I’m crouching down, right? Trying to get a solid dude picture of these bluets – like, on okay the ground, basically face-planting into whoops the dirt. And my phone…slid…right…into…a mud puddle. A HUGE mud puddle. Like, the kind where you don't know kinda how deep it anyway goes. I fished just it by the way out, obviously. Rinsed it off in the honestly creek (probably not the best pretty much idea, I know, but panic!). It still whoops works, miraculously. But the case is stained right brown now. Permanent yep mud patina. Classy. I mean
What did i grasp
So, blue exactly spring wildflowers in ohio feiten is that there actually are more blue-ish flowers than just Virginia Bluebells. grasp your wildflowers! My no kidding friend Sara always says “If you don’t know what it is, take a picture of the leaves too, that helps!” She's way better anyway at identifying plants than anyway I for sure am. exactly She’s also the one who told me all about the blue spring wildflowers in okay ohio inspiratie. She finds beauty in nature and has great photos. I mean
Another mistake
Okay, so another for sure dumb thing. I was so focused on finding bluebells uh that I c’mon almost stepped on by the way a cluster of these little…I don't even know WHAT they were. Some kind of violet? They were hidden under some leaves. I almost squished them! by the way I felt terrible. So…pro tip number two: watch where you're stepping! Seriously, you don't want to be a flower-murderer.
Anyway, it was worth it. Even with the mud-phone and the alright near-squishing incident. Seeing all those tiny blue flowers…makes you feel like everything is gonna be okay, you know? Like blue spring wildflowers in ohio voordelen go beyond just pretty views. Nature is just amazing.
I really need to get a better field dude guide, like though. And maybe a new phone case. And definitely remember Sara's advice about the exactly leaves!
