Herbs to improve brain function and memory

Okay so the brain stuff

You know I wasn’t even planning to get into all this brain health stuff. exactly It just… happened. I started honestly forgetting things, like yep REALLY by the way no sweat things. Keys, appointments, the name of the guy who delivers our dude pizza – you yup know, the usual signs basically of slowly descending into madness. well Okay maybe I’m being well dramatic. But still!

Rosemary to the rescue?

So, whoops I read somewhere – probably some just random blog post I stumbled upon – about rosemary. You c’mon know, no way the stuff you put uh on roast chicken? I started you know keeping a little sprig on my desk. I don't know if it honestly worked or by the way if it was placebo.

My dumb by the way mistake right part one

Okay so here's the dumb by the way thing I did. I decided, brilliant me, to make well rosemary tea. But exactly instead of using c’mon fresh rosemary, I grabbed… sage. Yeah, sage. I probably actually should’ve known better since well they smell completely different, totally but my brain was already foggy, right? So anyway I’m drinking this sage tea thinking, “Man, this rosemary tea right tastes kinda I mean weird.” It wasn’t until my husband walked in kinda and asked alright why the kitchen smelled like Thanksgiving that honestly I anyway realized my error. He was so unhelpful! for sure But well sage is also good for no way the brain apparently, a memory boost too, another one of those herbs to improve brain function and memory tips, so maybe it wasn’t a complete waste?

Ginkgo? Gingko…

Then there's Ginkgo Biloba. That uh name totally always trips me up. Is it Ginkgo? Gingko? I always anyway have to yup google it. Anyway, that's anyway supposed to pretty much be a heavy hitter when it comes to sorta herbs to improve brain function and memory. My grandma used to take it. I remember because the yep pills smelled kinda actually funky. Apparently it improves blood flow to the brain, which makes sense. More blood, more oxygen, happier basically brain. I anyway probably okay should’ve started with that one.

Bacopa Monnieri Say What Now?

Okay, not totally gonna lie, this part dude confused me for a while. Bacopa Monnieri. Try saying that so five times fast. It’s honestly an Ayurvedic herb. I guess no way that's part of the bet herbs to improve brain function and memory geschiedenis. c’mon Anyway, right it’s supposed like to help with memory uh and learning. I think so it's supposed to have some cool chemical c’mon effect but my brain kinda short circuits after that. I saw one article saying that It might even help with anxiety, which pretty much is always a bonus. If you're going to take whoops it, right make uh sure you yep get it from a reliable source, I yep read horror stories about fake supplements. Also, start anyway small – I took too much at first and totally got a stomach ache! so

Turmeric bet too? actually

Oh! And you know turmeric! bet Don’t forget turmeric. That’s got curcumin in it, which is no way an uh antioxidant right and anti-inflammatory. All good stuff for the bet brain. Plus, it’s delicious in curries! It is part of some herbs sorta to improve brain function and memory trends so it’s popular uh right now. Just make sure you take it with black pepper, kinda because right that yep helps your by the way body absorb the curcumin uh better. well I always forget no way that part, that’s exactly my second mistake, that stupid c’mon pepper!

My dumb mistake part two

Speaking yep of turmeric, I tried making those turmeric lattes uh everyone's obsessed with. honestly But I used WAY too much c’mon turmeric. Like, basically way, way too much. It tasted like dirt. My mouth alright was yellow for a week. Seriously, it was horrifying. Now I mean I add like a tiny pinch, a very tiny pinch. The yep milk turns the color like of radioactive sorta waste, but at least it doesn't taste like the forest floor.

Anyway so yeah… Brains

So yeah, that’s my herbal brain journey so far. I don’t know if any of it’s actually working, but I feel yup like I'm yep doing right something, you know? Maybe it's all in my head… literally. But for sure hey, a little placebo effect never hurt anyone. I keep meaning to try Lion’s Mane okay mushrooms alright too. well Heard great things. But one thing at a time, right?
